Federated learning

1. What it is
YurekAI models improve with use. With federated learning the improvement is computed where your data lives, on your device or in your private space. Only a numerical update of the model parameters leaves it. Texts, documents, voices and images do not.
2. What we guarantee
No one at YurekAI reads your content for this purpose. Content is neither copied nor transferred outside your space. The update is protected with statistical noise (differential privacy) and is summed with those of other customers before being used: an individual contribution cannot be reconstructed. A learning round starts only with a minimum number of participants.
3. It is optional
Consent is separate from the contract and is not required to use the product. Those who do not give it get the same features at list price. It is off by default: training happens only for those who accept.
4. Withdrawal
Consent can be withdrawn at any time from the account, effective from the next round. Updates already summed contain no personal data and cannot be separated.
5. Recognition
Participants are entitled to a 20% discount on the subscription fee for 3 months, in the months in which consent is active.
6. Legal basis
Consent of the data subject under the Swiss FADP and the EU GDPR. The controller and the data subject’s rights are described in the privacy policy.
Consent is given and withdrawn from the account, under “Contribute to the growth of YurekAI”. This clause supplements the general terms.
